Section 546D of the Police Crimes Act 1900 states that "A person who impersonates a police officer is guilty of an offence.
Maximum Penalty: Imprisonment for 2 years, or a fine of 100 penalty units, or both".

Our site's registration form requires users to give us contact information (like their name and email address). The customer's contact information is used to contact the visitor in the event of a problem when processing an order. For example, problems with credit card verification, product availability, etc. Users have a choice of receiving future mailings during the registration process.
Our site uses an order form for customers to request information, products, and services. We collect visitor's contact information (like their email address), and financial information (like their account or credit card numbers). The customer's contact information is used to get in touch with the visitor when necessary. i.e, in the event there is a problem processing an order, corporate changes, or changes in privacy practices. Financial information that is collected is used to bill the user for products and services. The customer ID numbers are assigned to Web site visitors to verify the user's identity and for use as account numbers in our record system.

This website takes every precaution to protect our users' information. When users submit sensitive information via the website, your information is protected both online and off-line. When our registration/order form asks users to enter sensitive information (such as credit card number), that information is encrypted and protected. While on a secure page, such as our order form, the lock icon on the bottom of Web browsers such as Netscape Navigator and Microsoft Internet Explorer becomes locked, as opposed to un-locked, or open, when you are just "surfing".

Delivery:
Delivery within Australia will be by Australia Post or TNT. Please allow 10 working days for delivery. If your order is a gift, it is best to advise the recipient that a parcel has been sent. Please understand that we must charge a separate fee for every delivery address within Australia.
Shipping & Handling:
Within Australia the Shipping & Handling Charge for a spend of:
Up to $50 ($12.00 and will be sent with tracking)
$50-$100 ($17.00 and will be sent with tracking )
$100-$250 ($25.00 with tracking and cover )
$250 plus spend (will be price on application - system will state $30 at checkout, shipping price will be validated and/or adjusted by PoliceShop)
NOTE: We reserve the right to apply additional shipping charges if your order exceeds our standard rates as applied by the website (e.g. because of weight or distance). When your order has been received we will calculate any additional shipping charges and advise the cost.
International Orders:
International orders cannot be made through the website, however, we can process your order manually. Please contact us either by phone +61248288536 or by email info@policeshop.com.au to place an order. Shipping costs will be calculated as advised by Australia Post. Deliveries may be subject to import charges, such charges are the customer's responsibility, all items will be sent by air mail. We reserve the right to cancel and refund any order where additional shipping charges are not paid.
Exchanges & Returns:
You can return items in original condition within 30 days of receipt and obtain an exchange or refund on that item. We must receive such items within the 30-day period. Items received by us after the 30-day period will be returned to the sender. We are happy to refund or exchange when the item purchased is faulty or defective, not fit for the purpose, or if it does not match the description or sample shown. Delivery and handling charges on returns are not refundable. Call us to arrange an exchange or refund.
